So I've been searching everywhere for a way to make this game work on windows 10. I was hoping that this might finally be how I succeeded, but even trying the download/install in the multiplayer client, it doesn't seem to be working. The load bar slowly fills all white, then drops back to the beginning and just stays there indefinitely. I'm pretty sure it's stuck at whatever problems my other attempts were facing that stem from the new operating system. Is there anything that can be done? Please help, thank you =)

Ok so I got it to work using compatibility mode except NOW it won't actually SAVE a game. The save panel is black, gone if I try to go back and save again later (then making another black save panel), and whenever I load up the game I find myself right back at.... finishing the temple. No matter how far I got before or how many autosaves happened, and like I said a manual save doesn't help either. I'm just so lost on what to do to make this game actually *work* for me ever.

compatibility mode is a no go because it prevents the game from being able to access the registry, where it stores information about the currently active player profile and creature file. the progress bar resetting is a normal effect when the installer is finished, windows 10 may just not be doing what it should be doing and opening the game directory after.
