Since black & white online is no more, is ther any way to cheat the game logic and programme it to some weather site that tracks weather in the current region? Would be awesome if it would match the local weather.
It's definately Black & Whit>Data>WeatherSystem but I'm not tech savvy at all so not sure where the linking file is supposed to be at.
According to this ancient forum :http://arstechnica.com/civis/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=622934 it's supposed to be tweaked to the internet game, maybe somehow logging into the non-existing B&W online network can be linked to some weather site to receive weather news and translate that in the game (but a really good site).

There's also inetlog.txt in the main repository of the B&W folder.
Contains some interesting stuff. I wonder if it's activated or not at all (and how do I find out) and if it reads weather then from where and what region it classifies me in.
I have the Textures folder there, but no Models folder.

can't really do anything with it without knowing the specifics of the communication protocol used.

Maybe it's possible to contact the developers to find out how it works?
It's speculation but curiousity is overwhelming.
