maybe be more specific about the problem? This client seems to have real issues on 64 bit platforms..

Microsoft .NET Framework has an unhandled exception.
I use vista.

vista is one os that I absolutely refuse to do anything with, although I would guess that its some problem with the winsock control..

i'd use dependencywalker to open bwclient.exe and check for missing dependencies.

I fixed it.

Run in compatibility mode, and run as Admin.

Why arent there any servers and why cant I log in?

I'd guess compatibility mode is breaking something. On our Populous client I think all vista users needed to do was run as admin.
