Several years ago I stopped playing Black and White, mainly because my disc broke and I did not feel like hunting down a new one. Over the past year since I began reconsidering the amount of entertainment I got out of Black and White 2, I found myself longing to play again. Since that time I have become a huge fan of the game again and have been trying to see just how many people still play. I've gone to the sites, seen the forums and have been cheered up when I found that Black and White is far from dead, perhaps even sparked by the release of Black and White 2. I want to see how many people (at least on this site) have had any similar experience with this game. All that needs to be done is Says yeah, feel free to post your story if so but don't feel pressured.

When I first played, I instantly fell in love with the game, but, I only played skirmishes and story, never taking time to play online. following that, my disc broke, and I was left unable to play. A number of years later, I was thinking of games past, and remembered Black and White, I then got a copy of the Deluxe version with the Creature Island expansion. By this time, I had grown to the point where I craved online play, but such a thing was not to be, as they had already taken down the servers. I played for a while and shelved away the game. Somewhat recently, I pulled it out once more, and proceeded to play. When I gave it to a friend, and decided to look around the interwebs for a way to play against him, I came across Hamachi. I played a couple matches on that, before I became distracted by the life that any high schooler must cope with. returning to this game that I've always loved (though the second one let me down a little, it was more polished, but less complex) I looked on the boards and saw the link to here. Well, I am now here, and looking forward to what experiences, educational and non, that I might find here.
